An issue with our new build turned into my dream v

An issue with our new build turned into my dream vision for an office.

This happened👇

A stair case was built that felt (still feels) unwalkable.

👉On plan this had to be a round staircase leading up all the way to two different floors. Designed by an architect.

🌱 But what house build has thought us even more is that sometimes with bad news comes new creative ideas to a solution. 🌱

👉 The builder knew this stair was not good to continue on another floor level so he suggested that we create the last floor as its own penthouse room with its own staircase on the roof.

🌱 Which created my dream office vision suddenly. 🌱

Are you a Sunday homebody? My favorite part of the week is calm mornings at home on Sundays.

This is my time to reflect, feel at peace, food prep (explore recipes), nurture our home and plants while at the same time feeling prepared for next week.

The point is not to rush or spend the whole day preparing for the week. As afterall this is a day to feel relaxed and simply do what brings us joy. But instead treat it as a way of self care and nurturing our environment.

And at the same time setting us up for a calmer week with all the to-dos and also fun-dos 🤪

Get a glimpse into how I plan my month making sure I progress on my private goals calmly while working a 8- 5 leading an SEO department.

Embracing the process and finding balance in creating, building a wellbeing life, spending time with family, training dogs and working on exciting house projects etc.

Things my monthly plan include:

🌱 Moodboard reminder (gotta stay focused and motivated)
🌱 Focus goals 3 ideally only)
🌱 Habit stacking
🌱 Non-negotiables
🌱 This weeks focus on
🌱 Okay to buy

The most important tool is a nice cup of something 🍵 some chilled music and a tool like @notionhq (been doing this for years).

After I plan, I look over my home environment to see if I need to improve anything to make easier calmer progress 🌱

Simple and sweet 🍵

Help yourself to achieve your goals and staying on track by creating positive mindset spots around your house.

It does not matter what your goal is in this case, most of us can benefit to be reminded of that the power in greatness comes from our mind.

Some tips how I am doing this throughout my space:

- Quotes: cheesy to some but extremely beneficial to others. Even if this is a trend gone, I still find simple visual pleasing ways of adding this to my home.

- Curated flower spots: flowers brings me to a more mindful state of also thinking in the now. Encouraging me to move away from distractions.

- Create a morning ritual spot: The happy one go place that you start your morning in and that is part of and encourages you to stay motivated for your morning routine.
