Out fresh from the real estate hot press is this stunningly styled Oslo apartment designed by Katerina Dima from Only Deco Love. The apartment is according to Katerina located in a prime area of Oslo with a nice garden adj-acing and a coffee shop around the corner. I must say Katarina’s description of her neighborhood makes me wanna move to Oslo and into her apartment – right now. Technically this apartment could be mine or yours since it is up for sale here. (Dreaming away)
As a design the apartment has been tastefully styled to bring out the beauty of its elements from when it was built in 1890’s. Before Katerina did any work to it there had already been work done to the original flooring which was painted grey and also work done to the stuccos and the vintage stove together with the bathrooms.
Well done to Katarina for the styling of this place…the work is inspiring me…
5 Decoration Tips from this apartment
- Hide a TV’s bulkier black frame by painting an accent wall in a darker color
- A bed does not always have to be in the center of a room – play around with the layout
- Leaning art by the wall is very tasteful – good for renting situations
- Don’t be scared of painting
- Use stools as bed side tables
The solution I ended up with was painting the wooden wall from its natural color to LADY 5455 Industrial Blue Supreme finish for wood and panels, while I kept the rest of the room simple and sleek painting in LADY 9918 Klassisk Hvit Pure color supermatt for walls. I love how my simple TV (and quite an old one) is now blending with the wall , while at the same time the beautiful blue is giving a feeling of luxury, win win! – Only Deco Love
