What is a sweet home and bedroom without some good looking bed linens? Bed linen can add texture, color and depth to our bedrooms.
If your space has light walls and the decor is minimal, you may wish to contrast with darker fabrics, like Jennifer from A Merry Mishap did above. The darker color adds focus on the bed area, and creates an inviting feel from the stark walls.
This post was actually inspired by Emmas wishlist the other week. I fell madly ‘in love’ with the ‘Plus’ bed linen from Normann Copenhagen. It is of satin weave cotton; comfortable, easy to wash and good in humid climates. The natural fibre appeals to me as it compass a natural quality that feels very genuine. At the same time the satin means that the bedlinen will have a luster to it. Oh how gorgeous they would be in my new bedroom.
