Norm Architects
Norm Architects is a Copenhagen-based design studio focused on enriching the human experience through design. The studio is all about designing well-being spaces, that balances function and beauty.
Plenty of their recent designs could be categorized as Japandi interior style; focus on function and form, subtle colors, wood, and tactile materials that are commonly found both in Japanese and Scandi (Japandi) spaces.

Keiji Design
Keiji Ashizawa Design was founded in 2005 by Keiji Ashizawa, and is located in Tokyo. They are a very known company and have also been partnering up with Norm Architects for spaces.
Their design motto ‘honest design’ is captivating and we can easily see this translating into how they use and craft materials to tell a story, a story that encompasses emotions; and experiences that are backed up with function.
What do we feel inspired by?
A design studio that centers its work around ‘honest design’ – what cannot be more motivating than that?
But not only is this a word, the honesty and humbleness, are being seen and felt throughout the spaces that they design.
What I in particular like is the way they use a minimal amount of variation in materials, but at the same time find a variety in how they are applied (for example through composition) and where they are applied. This together with the way they also play with light – is a light and design study for any design enthusiast.

Daytrip
Daytrip design studio is founded by Iwan Halstead and Emily Potter, and is operating out of their London design studio.
Their take on design is to make sure they have a clear understanding of the existing architecture and making sure the beauty of it comes through.
What do we feel inspired by?
The muted color palette combined with the textural and intentful organic felt materials in juxtaposition with the play of natural light – is up our alley! And not to forget the incredible use of depth through applying different patterns, tones and shades within the materials picked.

Design Studio Room
Design Studio Room is founded by a strong design-savvy woman duo, Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia’s.
Having gone to school together a few years later they started the first woman architectural and design studio in Tbilisi, Georgia.
What do we feel inspired by?
From a business aspect their inspiration to go into a field that was at the time within their region more male-dominated – is motivating.
When it comes to their incredibly designed spaces, it is all about soft spaces where there is a clear interest in incorporating art into the spaces.
