Finally! It is the time of the week when we can unwind, snuggle up, eat extra sweet stuff while embracing the Swedish custom of F redagsmys [friday snuggles].

Seriously – perhaps it has become a bad habit of ours – but Fridays are the perfect excuse and the day when we -guilt free- indulge in something extra sweet. Hence I could not resist to show these images from Chök, The Chocolate Kitchen. Yup we are fans of chocolate, so the name got me – I admit! Still though even if the name got me craving, the interior is not to be forgotten. Intsight who is behind the design and styling together with photographer Mireia Rodriguez did a great job in starting this craving feeling within me. You know the kind of … ‘ I must visit this place ‘ kind of feeling. Anyone with me on this?

Fredagsmys is a Swedish word for the concept of comfort and relaxation. It has a different meaning to each Swede. It might involve the luxury of a glass of wine, candy, great food, company of your loved once, indulging in a book….. Well the imagination for what Fredagsmys means is endless and is all about ‘a feeling’.
