Fredagsmys: Clothing Shop Haberdash Designed By FUWL

Today’s Fredagsmys and inspiration is coming from Haberdash. A men’s clothing store located in Stockholm and designed by Form Us With Love. So far I have shown concepts of relaxing Fridays at home, hotels or coffee shops. I figured it was time to show something else I relate to Fridays; browsing retail space’s. I love to explore different shops and I draw plenty of inspiration from these to my designs.

Haberdash is one of those retail designs that inspires. Even though I have never visited the shop in real I can tell by these photographs that I would not mind sitting down on one of those poufs while admiring the interior design.

The interior designers behind it, FUWL, says that they selected “materials reflecting the level of detail and quality […]” of the brand’s fashion. And we can spot this in the contemporary and masculine objects, as well as some earthy elements like leather and ash wood.

Fredagsmys is a Swedish word for the concept of comfort and relaxation. It has a different meaning to each Swede. It might involve the luxury of a glass of wine, candy, great food, company of your loved once, indulging in a book….. Well the imagination for what Fredagsmys means is endless and is all about ‘a feeling’.
