Art work don’t have to be overly elaborated pieces, but instead I favor the simple and sensitive representations that feel as they have been created by man. Those arrangements together with polished, and clean surfaces really speaks to me.
Something I also have a soft spot for is glossy photographs in wood frames. Contrary to the art work, that has a feel of imperfection, this photo is seemingly perfect but with an enclosed wood frame that captures the essence of man made again.

Perhaps I tempted you to bring out the brushes for some painting this weekend?

Hey Leigha. Nice to meet you 🙂 I'm so glad you left a comment so I could find my way back to you.
Thank you.
Have a great Tuesday.
New to your blog – you have some great images. Yum.

I'm with you on that. A book or a magazine and a cup of tea and my evening would feel so relaxed. Especially with the smell and sounds from the fire.
Oh cool. Do you paint? 🙂
Happy Friday dear.
I so love the scene in the last photo! I could cuddle up in that chair (with the fireplace on of course) for hours!
..and actually I'm in a very artful mode these days =)
