Sweet Home: Interior Architect Daniel Heckscher
Welcome in to the home of Interior architect, Daniel Heckscher and singer Jessica Folcker. (Update: They put their home on the market and Daniel then moved to this apartment in 2015.)
While I am usually drawn to more subtle colour palettes there is something so vibrant and intriguing about the color palette in this space.
And in fact what strikes me most about this home is the balance between creating a relaxed feel that at the same time influence energy and creativity. Of course one cannot ignore the great use of the interior space together and the large window door that connects indoors with outdoors.
Key Takeaways from Daniel Heckscher’s Home
- Don’t be scared of adding colors on the floors
- Work with natural light as much as possible
- Use tiles on the wall in the whole kitchen

Very nice with blue color on the floor. I really like that! I want that! Now!
Yeah, it’s really cool! Love the fact that they dared to do something a bit different.
