Here at hotel Endemico is where I would have wanted to spend my Friday. It is located in the village of Valle De Guadalupe in Mexico which is known for its wineries. For you who might be familiar of Mexico know that it is not far at all from the San Ysidro border. The exterior of the huts, its privacy and the location in the valley feels serene. The designers behind it are Gracia Studio and they worked together with local craftsmen to create a relationship between the applied materials and what can be found in the surrounding nature.

In the interior of the huts white bedlinen and white walls gives it a contemporary aura. Even with these added elements one can spot that the designers used similar textures and materials to bring together the outside, with the inside. A clever move as it will only create the illusion of more space while sitting inside. The glass windows and the big door opening are of course also helping. Defining vertical lines on the wall emphasizes the height of the ceiling and distracts the visitor from the room actually being pretty narrow.
