Lately we have been seeing many IT offices where the design involves punches of vibrant colours. Like the Skype office also located in Stockholm.

I believe colours to be an important aspect when designing an office space. For increased inspiration and productivity colours in the interior should complement the brand. This will strengthen the brands identity. Speaking of productivity this can also be increased or decreased by application of colour. The different psychological effects colours have on us are therefore good to know about.

Ps Arkitektur Skype OfficeI can’t stop admiring the furniture and details in this space. Not to forget the soccer-table that I would gladly put in an office where I create. And did you see that cloud shaped lamp? Clearly a way to reinforce the brand with the interior, don’t you think?  Ps Arkitektur Skype OfficePs Arkitektur Skype OfficeWhimsical cables runs through the interior as a reminder that the Stockholm office caters for the audio-video technique. So what do you say? Is this a creative office?

Creative Office: Lycee Francais Saint-Louis

This is the Lycee Francais Saint-Louis school located in Stockholm. It is designed by Archistudio.

At a first glance I assumed this space to be an office or studio. Mostly because its creative approach and color choice. Schools normally tend to be of the more stagnant type, where color and creativity sometimes seem to be forgotten.

Hopefully in the future there will be more of these kinds. -Schools were productivity and innovation are keywords.-

Lastly I want to mention the photographer Jason Strong who shot these images. He captured those vivid colors nicely.
