All these lovely Places to Eat & Drink – there are so many cool new concepts out there who have got the help of talented designers to transform their spaces into lovely places for us to see and if you are a local, for you to visit.

The – what feels like a creative freedom; and the use of different materials to create different moods is what fascinates us with hospitality design. Interior designers seem to be much braver in their selection when it comes to testing new designs or how to express different elements.

Just like the Form Bureau did, the design team behind the Coffee and Wine bar called Nude located in Moscow. The interior design really speaks to us with its simplistic approach yet it has that interest through its textured wall – very much contemporary and urban. This is where our bags would have been packed to, and even though Moscow is on our bucket list to visit due to its culturally rich city it will probably take sometime before we step foot there. So instead of packing our bags we are putting our reading glasses on to make sure we are getting every detail out of these images.

Happy indulging!

Here at Nude – it is all about simplicity and no excess. This translates through the design scheme as can be seen in its earthy color palette, materials and seating layouts.

Nude is a small family establishment which is located in a 1930s residential building in the buzzing city of Moscow. It seats 30 people which makes it into a cozy lounge place perfect even for those Fredagsmys times with friends after work.

The whole space is divided in to different zones as to cater different needs. There is a dining area with a massive wood bench juxtaposed with marble tables. Then there is the lovely bar area where one can over see the talent and passion into making the drink you ordered. Lastly there is the wine area which has long tables to cater for a community and relaxed feel while sipping some wine and perhaps meeting a new friend.

This clearly is a Place we wanted to add to our now not so small food Bucket List. We will for sure keep on following Form Burea’s creative journey for some more creative Places to add to our series.

From Design Team:

The design was informed by the materiality of the existing space. Multiple layers of plaster and paint had been partially chipped away to reveal original brick walls. This beautiful existing texture inspired the use of pared back, ascetic materials such as concrete and wood, with small brass accents and a bold black and white tile pattern.” – Form Bureau
