Chairs Designed With Typeface In Mind

Have you guys seen this; the ‘Type Furniture‘ by James Lavines? I haven’t. It’s an interesting concept. Once again, proof that the bridge between graphic and interior isn’t wide.

I think it’s cool! I’m wondering how ergonomic and practical the italic inspired one actually is. To me, it looks like an art piece more than the chair you wish your dad to sit on when visiting.
