Sweet Home: Surrounded By Wood
Wood. A durable and strong material that is typically used in Scandinavian countries both in interiors and exteriors. What is new to me though, is seeing apartment complexes being built out of this material.
Visually speaking these complexes become interesting as they proudly stand above any other wood structures I have seen. They also create an organic feel especially if located in a lush area like this apartment in Stockholm. In fact this apartment is part of a 8 story complex, designed by Wingårdhs Arkitekter. The frame, facade and some interior elements are all in wood. A pretty neat sweet home right?
