This week I did not need to do a whole board on objects that inspires me. Everything was staring at me in this fantastic photo.

I believe that a big benefit with living small is that one might afford to splurge on some designer pieces. One day when I feel settled enough I might own this sofa, but most probably I will start of with something like a pillow from Svenskt Tenn.
So what do you think; are you one of those who would trade down space to afford that designer lamp that you have been craving for so long?
1. Posters {Therese Sennerholt}. Inspiring and easy to look at. 2. Diaries {Bookbinders}. It seems as if I am always on a mission to find a nice looking diary. 3. A Blouse {Gina Tricot}. Actually it is more like ‘the’ blouse. 4. Macbook Pro {Apple}. I would not say no to a new laptop.
My super short product list this week. Are there any particular items that you are into this week?

At the moment it seems to be mission impossible to find the right poster. When I browse online there are tons of beautiful, and playful graphic posters. But why can’t I then find ‘the one’? I like the once I picked out here, found on Easy Art, but they would only work as pops through the interior, not as ‘the’ actual focal point that I so crave.
I am hoping to find something that catches my eye, to then use it as an inspiration for the whole decor. As for now I am still wandering back and forth between what style and direction I should go for.
Where do you go to find your posters?

I can’t get my eyes off this fashion blogger’s dining room: It’s warm, light, elegant and with elements brought in from nature. I love the fact that it looks so grown-up and not very cluttered.

Creating a focal point as such really goes along way in my book. I love the simplicity of the frames and its graphic posters. Not to forget the branch sculpture and the lamp that helps to achieve the right balance.
{Trendenser and Flex inredning both blogged about this beauty recently.}
Sometimes it’s hard to find the right balance between small- and well designed living. I believe this home is a good example of how an ideal compact living solution would be to me.As for this space It looks as the needs and behavior of the owners has been studied to detail as to create the perfect home for them. They have created four different zones in two distinct spaces, this by using a Murphy bed and a kitchen island/table/office station. The style feels easy to the eye and is not competing with the place, instead it feels cohesive.
I love the sliding wall that creates an intimate yoga or sleeping zone. I could see wanting a similar solution in our future home. I have actually been negative to Murphy beds for a while now, but I might have to re-think this practical solution. What do you think, is Murphy bed’s a practical solution that you would like?

Another clever thing in this space is the adjustable dining table that functions as kitchen island, office area and entertainment area; all thanks to the adjustable legs. I wonder how expensive it would be to design a table with those type of stands?
{That plant is fantastic and feels like just the right, organic decoration for this space.}

Wow, I can’t believe it’s Monday again. The weeks are flying by.
I have had some fantastic weeks. I decided to take some time off. I must admit even how wonderful it is to take a break it’s lovely to be back in everyday mode. One positive thing with stepping back from the computer is that I had time to listen to my inner-self: what is me? Where am I at? Daunting and exciting questions at the same time.
As for the ‘Inspired By This’ I’m still into light spaces, with a hint of gray and warm tones. This checked flooring makes my week! It creates that wow factor and reality is that I probably will never forget this kitchen: it stands out {1}. I still have chalkboard fever. How long haven’t we seen this around blogs and magazines? Yet I still can’t get over it. To me, it feels so playful and energetic. {2}. Okay so, combine subway tiles with ethnic accessories and you’ll get my legs to shiver {3}. Love, love ceilings that speaks for themselves {4}. Orange!! Do I need to say more? {5}
Now to the fun thing, what inspires you at the moment?
Enjoy your Monday!

Recall my obsession with bo-laget, the real estate agency from south of Sweden? Last night I received a mail from them and oh, did I get happy: they launched a new website where they display images from inspiring homes they have sold.
This definitely looks to become a go-to place on the web for tips, tricks and that inspiration that we interior geeks all so crave. Don’t you think?
Thumbs up to them and their innovative approach to doing business in the industry of real estate.

Happy Creative Monday to you! Let’s make this week one to remember. I’m still eagerly searching for a new little nook, with a more open floor-plan than I have. But I’m thinking of waiting since I might be moving town end of this year. Patience, I’m told….I’ve got non I feel.
So, how fantastic wouldn’t a light and airy apartment be, where one could place amazing artwork or just simple posters, definitely in wood frames {1}. A few touches of orange to bring in the zesty flavors that kindly don’t compete with the blond wood. Oh, and the brick wall is a must have detail. {2}. And since I can never decide on where to hang my favorite framed pieces I might just lean them by the wall, for that relaxed look I crave {3}. Mexican leather objects will nicely decorate the apartment {4}. And lastly those simple terracotta pots are perfect to me. A green simple organic plant, preferable a herb, would make a good couple {5}.
This is what I’m inspired by. A little bit different from last week, don’t you think? What images/things are driving you a little bit extra insane?
